Landscape Architecture can be described as the synthesis between art and science, collaborating with other disciplines in creating the overall sense of place of the external environment within land and urban development projects.
Ecora’s Landscape Architecture Studio embraces a contemporary, ecological and sustainable design-style. Hard and soft landscaping elements are integrated with art, sculpture and water. Simple and rational hard landscaping compliments the architecture, using locally sourced materials wherever possible. Soft landscaping encourages bold swathes of colour, form, foliage, texture and scent, using endemic, indigenous and zone appropriate plant species.
The objective is to create unique landscapes, considering individual site and client needs. Each site instinctively guides the design solution through its location, micro-climate, soil conditions, slope, vegetation and architecture. Collaboration with the client, architect or developer, is encouraged, empowering the design to fulfil a vision in terms of the finished landscape.
The ultimate goal is the realization of memorable, interactive landscapes, which are relaxing and beautiful, all the while promoting healthy environments for people and wildlife.
Valid for 1 year, the following is included:
2.5hr consultation on site
