On a fast and stable foot-powered Hobie kayak you can photograph the abundant wildlife with ease, explore the spectacular coastline or maybe catch a salmon for supper*!
For the more adventurous you can do all of the above on a Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP). With our qualified instruction even 1st timers will be confidently gliding along the water - and peering down into the clear waters at a world full of wonder and surprises.
Our bikes are ideally suited for the famous 56km "Galloping Goose" converted railway trail, but also able to take on some of the challenging terrain that BC is known throughout the world for.
We help adventurous connoisseurs rediscover an ancient libation with hand-crafted meads made from our own Wildflower Honey. Our carefully tended beehives are put out to forage the wild flowers in hills behind Sooke for the purest honey.
Meadmaker and Beekeeper Bob Liptrot has been keeping bees and making mead for over 40 years. We are Western Canada's first meadery and have won several international awards for our Meads. Tugwell Meads are crafted from fruits that are grown on our own farm without the use of chemicals or pesticides. If it doesn't benefit the bees, it doesn't happen on our farm.
From the inception of West Coast Grill on Southern Vancouver Island, we have been committed to providing our guests with the freshest seafood and finest local ingredients. At West Coast Grill we strive to provide a wide range of culinary creations from farm to plate and sea to fork, preparing dishes from scratch, mixing in our own blend of creativity. Please reference the Gift Certificate # upon creating your reservation. Reservations must be made in advance of arrival. The bearer must be over 19 years of age. The original gift certificate must be presented upon arrival. Gift certificate cannot be extended, substituted, or replaced if lost or stolen. Incidentals and miscellaneous charges are the responsibility of the guest.
