The Rossland Museum is a Site of National Historic Significance and the complex covers over five acres. It is located on the actual site of the historic Le Roi Gold Mines which was the second largest lode gold producing district in B.C.
It also includes: • Outdoor mining history exhibits • Summer promotions and events • Cominco Wing – history of mining and smelting • Ski Wing – history of local skiing • Theatre, information kiosks, exhibits and displays • Extensive community archives (open by appointment) • Interpretive Site Tour with Gold Panning – showcases various points of interest of the mine site and includes a video presentation.
The Prestige Mountain Resort, located in the quaint mountain town of Rossland, offers a comfortable stay with 67 rooms to meet a variety of travelers’ needs. Guests can relax and dine in the on-site restaurant and lounge, including a patio with lovely valley views. Guests are also encouraged to borrow our recreational items which vary by location and include sporting equipment, board games, and beach toys for added enjoyment.

Please reference the Gift Certificate # upon creating your reservation. Reservations must be made in advance of arrival. The bearer must be over 19 years of age. The original gift certificate must be presented upon arrival. Gift certificate cannot be extended, substituted, or replaced if lost or stolen. Incidentals and miscellaneous charges are the responsibility of the guest. Gift Certificate will be mailed to the winning bidder and will be valid for 1 year from the auction closing date.
