Executive Chef Mike Wilkins at Krafty Kitchen + Bar and Orchard Room. Mike was born in Toronto and raised in New Jersey, his culinary education at Hyde Park in New York inspired him to study at the Culinary Institute of America where he received a bachelor's degree in hospitality management and wine studies. Mike was inspired to become a chef because of his natural connection to food and his interest in the science behind it. Leading him down the road of cooking in many restaurants during his journey to understand the "why" of cooking. Mikes cooking is a lot like his personality; bold, exciting and with a sense of whimsy and adventure.
